After a long decade of shitty dance movies there is finally a good one again.
It's a wonderful exaple for how emotions can be shown by dancing.
Honestly... the story is pretty light, but it's not full of superlong dance battle scenes.
But DAMN ... that last dance gave me goosebumbs.

    Mr. & Mrs. Smith

To be honest, you can't compare this movie to oscarwinning masterpieces.
But i kinda love this film. You feel the connection between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. And the choice and the arrangement of the soundtrack just gives me goosebumps.
Some light and well placed jokes always gives you a smile. And damn... this sexscene is hot!

    How It Ends

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

As a big fan of surivialstuff i was very pleased at the beginning. The two main charakters had no clue whats happening due of the meltdown of the medias. So they try to make their way through an early apocalypse
scenario. They stayed focused on their way to seattle, so there were no useless side stories. So I liked when Ricki leaves the group because of moral differences. And the protagonists decide NOT trying to find her.

    This was just amazing.
It needed some minutes to get me into the movie, but from then it was thrilling til the very last minute.

  • Freeheld

I'm not even mad, the story behind that movie is awesome and important. And usually i'm a big fan of Ellen Page, and Julianne Moore is not a bad actress, too. But the beginning of the story seemed kind of awkward, and the rest of the story was like "wanted and failed".

    I cried anyways.

  • A Monster Calls

    A Monster Calls

A story about dealing with some deep shit, mixed with a fairy tale.
It catched me from the beginning.
I guess they had their inspriation from "a christmas carol" and it totally makes sense to use that kind of storytelling in this kind of movie.

  • LOL

Bad and useless remake of a nice and authentic french teenie movie.

  • Dredd

Odd and futuristic, with a brutal touch.
And Lena Headey shows us again: she is the perfect brutal and mean queen of matriarchal power.

The presentation of the Slo-Mo-Drug is truely an eye-candy. Just sometimes it felt like they rushed through the Story, so I wish there was more explanation about this fixtional world.
    But it worked anyway.
    And I loved it!

    You Can't Kill Stephen King

Even if you like B-Movies, you won't like this.
The references are funny and the idea of a Stephen King Splatter is pretty cool.
But the jokes are not very good and the story is more than predictable.
Also there was space for more genius references, and they missed that opportunity.

    Dirty Dancing

    Dafuq did i just watch?

a movie like dirty dancing deserves more than this shit.
Those dance scenes just made me cry.
At the end it was not more than a badly executed teenie movie.
