I liked this, but I was really hoping it would be two hours of Katherine Waterston being an action star and that is (albeit very good and exactly what I had hoped when happening) very little of the actual film.
Ok, let's preface this with the fact that I'm a #FakeFan and love Twin Peaks but never got around to watching this until now. Now onto the film.
I've seen a lot of criticism of this film. Before, during, and after having watched Twin Peaks in its entirety, and a lot of it boils down to "it doesn't feel like Twin Peaks" or "the tone is completely off." I suppose that's not entirely untrue in ways, but I feel like…
I made it about 1/3 of the way into this before turning it off after thirty or forty minutes of nonstop Family Guy humor (and I do mean *literally* nonstop) because that's as long as anything should ever last with that format.
I won't give it a star rating, as I didn't complete it, but what I saw is total garbage.
