Awful acting, awful CGI, and terrible voice acting.
Probably the worst live action Disney yet.
Half a star given just for the little Scottie’s outfits.
I can't even lie. I went with 3 friends to see this at a 9pm screening last night and was hands down the guy that was being looked at and laughed at, for they expected me to be writhering in my seat wanting to leave in fear. I was even laughing and pointing at myself knowing full well it was accurate...
What I didn't expect however was that I'd be so gripped on this movie, that I didn't even have…
Quite enjoyed this to be fair.
Had to watch it in two sittings, so whether it may have been a chore or not in one complete viewing, I don’t know, but the final third felt rewarding for its slow build up.
Pattinson and Chalamet are definitely two of the best young actors around at the moment, and they for sure are enjoyable to watch here. Pattinson isn’t on screen for very long, but the times when he is, he dominates every second as the film’s villain.
