jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy 2022
While this was more of a collection of footage than a comprehensive biography, I really enjoyed this for the most part! I was extremely impressed with the editing, as well as the score (along with the obviously brilliant soundtrack).
The pre-college dropout segment was a treat to watch, with plenty of studio footage featuring more hip hop legends than I could count. I found it fascinating to finally be able to visualise Kanye’s story from Last Call, and I thought…

The Worst Person in the World 2021
yeah, this one really fucking resonated with me. I can’t put it into words, but I’ll just say that I haven’t really related to a protagonist in a film this much for a long while. an absolute master class in writing and acting. I definitely need to go back and check out more of trier’s filmography.
