An immersive experience.

Riz Ahmed slays his performance and makes you feel whatever he's going through. He stays hopeful after everything. But we see him take over the world he thought he wouldn't appreciate but he tries to adjust and accept it.

Now, as an audio-visual medium, the film gets to portray the hearing loss that goes both ways. It really capitalizes on the medium so well and it works. From the buzzing, the high-pitched noises, and the abrupt cuts in the sound.
