Dog Star Man 1965
Genuinely amazing how much this evokes in such a constant stream. Association after association. Every image overlapping and organically becoming a resemblance of the previous one in such a deeply connected pattern. Surprised how much this actually reached me. Could rewatch without hesitation.

Blue 2002
Succeeds where similar films fail. It comes from a place of remarkable honesty and truth without stretching anything to make it convenient. The reality of the film raised a dread within me throughout the majority of the runtime that never really got alleviated, however not in a "Stick It To The Audience" kind of way, but instead in an all too relatable manner. Beautiful and beyond anything I could have imagined. Also props to the great soundtrack from Otomo Yoshihide.
