"No, they didn't give me a chaser!"
On the big screen at the Brattle, and boy is that plane sequence marvelous. I've seen this more times than I can count, and I jumped when the plane did its first dive. Also, having rewatched a few other Hitchcocks this year, I have a new appreciation for the scene at the end in Vandamm's house. It's a straight-up masterpiece of visually controlling what the audience sees vs. what the characters see that rivals even Hitchcock's own work in Rear Window.
