ngl, this movie just screams (pun intended) to me, and i’m sure a lot of other film buffs agree. the ironic, almost practical semi fourth-wall breaks, the jabs they poke at the horror genre in general (as well as poking fun at wes craven’s films, which made it all the more clever and unbiased), the fluid characters that seemed to be full of surprises and certain takes that broke stereotypes previous to this movie and built new ones that would inspire future films... i could really go on.
it’s just such a cult classic, and it’s such an enjoyable movie for ages to come. i can honestly watch this movie whenever and wherever.
