Tyler Scruggs’s review published on Letterboxd :
I think this movie is severely underrated as far as technically-poor gay-themed movies go. It’s a genre, we all know it. Terrible, quasi-sexy comedies or dramas that poorly reflect the queer expierence.
And despite its two straight leads, I legitimately believed in their relationship through the universe it creates for itself. I believe that Paul and Eramaus love each other. I believe their conflicts and their resolutions.
This movie is probably shat on in the lgbt community but honestly? It’s funny, it’s touching, it’s far from perfect, and it made me want Taco Bell.
