Tyler Scruggs’s review published on Letterboxd :
A minor miracle for the sheer fact that this film didn’t feel like a tasteless Disney/Pixar cashgrab. Yes, blah blah The Incredibles (2004) was the only Pixar film poised for a second installment, but it’s very clear to me that Brad Bird treated this film with far more care than any of of the other Pixar sequels, Toy Story notwithstanding. Yeah there might be toys or more sequels or whatever, but Incredibles 2 is a bookend that feels constantly necessary.
Like, what the fuck was Finding Dory why can I recall nothing from it? Was it Screenslaver?
This movie’s really good.
