Watched on a plane coming back from Japan where I visited Osaka Castle which has a detailed museum in it about the Battle of Sekigahara.
Perfect movie to cap off the trip with.
John Wick. I finally watched John Wick. John Wick is a movie I have heard nothing but good things about, just never got around to John Wick. Now that I have seen John Wick I can confirm John Wick is a cool film staring a guy named John Wick. John Wick shoots a lot of people and looks cool doing it. John Wick.
A conversation between director Tsai Ming-lian & actor/muse Lee Kang-Sheng in a ruin-looking room of their house they recently moved into. Tasi does most of the talking, which has him coming to terms with what he believes to be his impending death. The topics range from their relationship together, homosexuality, Tsai's legacy & Lee's feet. All done in a static shot with a total of three cuts, it is Tsai's emotion that requires this to be seen and wouldn't work as just a transcript.
