Pugsley McFly’s review published on Letterboxd:
The movie immediately starts with tiger poaching and then adds human trafficking to its story. Seriously, it should keep the plot a bit more simple by sticking to a single lane of morality and ethics. Instead, we are burden with multiple layers of inhumane wrongdoing. Megan Fox's character turns into a social justice warrior with an armory of military-grade weapons. Are we supposed to cheer her on? Sorry, it is just way too much of a misplaced step of good intentions. Having the location of the story occur in a third world country is a bad stereotype. Having the heroes in the story be a militia group from first world democratic countries is a cliche. There are several scenes of animal attacks throughout the movie. I could not help but remember the bear attack scene from The Revenant every single time. This movie is pretty lame. The CGI animals are even worse.
