The Murder of Dr. Harrigan ★★

The story felt more like a mild mannered episode from a daytime soap opera more than a mystery thriller movie. The vast majority of the movie takes place on the third floor of a hospital that seems to be a full service organization serving patients who need surgeries, overnight stays and a cast for a broken arm, alcohol rehabilitation, and psychiatric monitoring. Oh, then there's the extremely blatant moment of racism blurted out over and over again with such a casual tone of conversation makes my ears burn.
