The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 ★★★½

66/100

So. Edward was born in the year 1901. At the age of 17, he was turned, making it either 1918 or 1919. In this film he states, “a few years after Carlisle turned me I rebelled”. Reasonably this places the rebellion phase somewhere between 1921 and 1926. However, in the flashback from Edward’s rebellion phase takes place in a theater. The theater is playing The Bride of Frankenstein. The Bride of Frankenstein was released in 1935. You know what else was released in 1935? That’s right, The 39 Steps, directed by serial abuser Alfred Hitchcock. So why exactly would a flashback that supposed take place between the years 1921 and 1926, and feature a film that “just so happens” to be released a decade later, in the same year that it “just so happened” that an abuser released a film? You tell me, I only give you the puzzle pieces, you have to put them together.
