This really won Best Picture? I'm having a hard time with that. It really had none of the emotional punch that other nominees had. I'm by no means belittling the situation it portrays but I found it rather lifeless. Or maybe it was too realistic. I don't know. Mark Ruffalo's doing his best impression of Ray Romano. Baby Doll 1956
Such a bizarrely twisted, unnervingly disturbing film. And yet, there really isn't a whole lot going on besides some wonderful character studies and role reversals.
