    Unexpectedly loved this right up until the last 10 minutes which completely devalue and garishly button-up the larger work. Not the kind of person who wants to say too much about that in a public space like this, but DM me for the exact moment it went from "great" to "all-too-cozy" film.

    Years ago, I interviewed Mohamed Diab about his Cairo Trilogy, and found him to be a thoughtful, clever individual with a somewhat overblown sense of how "provocative" or "challenging" his work was.
