    Solid.

    Or, actually, liquid. Like water.

Bruce Lee was a cool cat.

The tower sequence with Bruce Lee is great. The rest of the movie without Bruce Lee is awful.

    I Am Bruce Lee

This is a really crappy documentary about Bruce Lee. If you know the basic outline of Lee's life and career, this has nothing new to offer. While Linda Lee Cadwell and Dan Insanto are interviewed, the bulk of the talking heads in thsi are people who have absolutely no connection to Lee. If you've ever wandered what Kobe Bryant, Mickey Rourke, Ed O'Neill and one of the Black Eyed Peas think of Bruce Lee ...

A pretty good documentary on the life and death of Bruce Lee. It includes interviews with Brandon Lee just before his death, as well as the rather downer look at the Bruceploitation industry with Bruce Li. It does more to dispel the more conspiratorial or salacious rumors that swirl around Bruce's death than most of these docs do, it's pretty good with the medical information and interviews with the doctors. They punch up the documentary parts about his life with scenes from Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth for a rather ironic twist on the Bruce Li interview. This is the best Bruceploitation documentary I've seen.

Before shooting ENTER THE DRAGON, Bruce Lee had started on this one, and then died before ENTER came out. Years later, the director of ENTER took 20 minutes or so of the footage that Lee shot and cobbled together this completely unrelated film and it’s an absolute grotesque. Using a guy who does not look like Bruce Lee as a double, clips from previous Bruce Lee films that do not match the re-shoots, and even footage from Bruce’s funeral, the…

    yea...

as a kid i didnt notice that this film ended up being so disrespectful and grave robbing after bruce lee's death. Using actual footage from his death? yuck. as well as the horrendus stand ins for bruce lee.

this was bad up until the end of the film, the moment the real bruce lee steps in frame. The ascent up the tower makes up for the entire movie i had just watched, and did more justice for bruce than the films efforts to pretend bruce lee was always there.

    SPRING CLEANING - FILM #36

Just as infuriatingly tasteless as The Real Bruce Lee, which I watched last month. Thankfully all that's left to get through the Martial Arts Masters pack is Return of the Street Fighter and Sister Street Fighter, both of which I'm excited for. No more Brucesploitation.

Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth is a biographical film about Bruce Lee's life. Except not at all. It follows Bruce Lee (played by Bruce Li) going to college, teaching…

I like Bruce Lee since I'm little. The universe of punches and kicks always interested me a lot and I was already a little action movie enthusiast. And because of that, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan were people I admired a lot
After seeing it makes me want to learn Kung Fu. Laugh.
Jason Scott Lee made a great Bruce Lee and I give him the full merit. This filme is full of emotion and action. The only thing that I did not like is the overrated romance.

Dragon is a cool look at the life of Bruce Lee, and even though much of it is apparently exaggerated, it's still a nice tribute. You do get the gist of his life and influence, but besides that the film itself is pretty entertaining.

Jason Scott Lee does a nice job capturing Bruce Lee's charisma and mannerisms and I think he did about as good of a job as could be expected. The fight sequences are fun and well choreographed and the score is a strong point as well. Overall it's a solid introduction to Bruce Lee.
