Bruceploitation movie about Bruce Lee's successor Bruce Li's investigation into the untimely death of Bruce Lee. As is often the case in these movies, a drugs cartel is involved. Thankfully there's plenty of crazy, high energy martial arts action to help viewers forget that the premise of this film is kind of in poor taste (complete with brief newsreel footage of Bruce Lee lying in state).

The Way of the Dragon 1972
This was my first taste of a Bruce Lee movie and I totally get it now. I fully understand how much of a cultural phenomenon Bruce Lee came to be in the western world.
How did that staredown between Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and the cat watching them fight not become a meme?

Fist of Fury 1972
In my humble opinion the best Bruce Lee film, I say that as a huge fan of Bruce Lee but it's the movie I would probably most likely to put on of his.
Love Bruce Lee's performance, pretty angry from start to finish and the story here is the strongest of his films.

Enter the Dragon 1973
people who only have cursory pop culture knowledge of Bruce Lee from parodies from cartoons and posters they bought at gas stations: "Bruce Lee is so badass and honourable using hand to hand combat"
Bruce Lee: "why don't we just shoot them lmao" -

Enter the Dragon 1973
Endlessly fascinated by performers like Bruce Lee & Gene Kelly that choreograph their films. Love when they shoot it wide with limited cutaways to really showcase their schtoyle; with their films I’m admittedly generally more interested in seeing that than whatever plot they built around it. Just love watching master artists in their prime.
Didn’t realize Lee died right after this so young, what a shame.

The Fog 1980
🎃24 Hrs. of Oh Shit That’s Spooky!🎃
Movie #3
There’s something about a town of people pretty much all listening to the same thing that makes me miss the past.THIS IS WHAT TARANTINO WAS SAYING WITH ONCE UPON A TIME IN...............................HOLLYWOOD BUT INSTEAD EVERYONE NEEDED TO ARGUE WHETHER OR NOT FAKE BRUCE LEE WAS LIKE REAL BRUCE LEE AND IF REAL BRUCE LEE COULD BEAT UP WHITE BRAD PITT AHHHHH
Tarantino could beat up Bruce Lee. Suck on that you fuckers.

Rapid Fire 1992
I enjoyed Rapid Fire, a martial arts based action movie starring Brandon Lee, son of the legendary Bruce Lee. I would describe the style as a synthesis of his father's no nonsense efficiency and Jackie Chan's creative environment based stunt fighting involving everyday objects found within the scenes. It's hard not to be bummed out though since the charisma put forth by Lee shows a skilled young actor that could have had a very promising career
