    Another fantastic overlooked gem from Sidney Lumet. Believe it or not, this isn't even his only great film from 1965. (It shares that the distinction with the equally great and equally under seen The Pawnbroker)

    To me the film is primarily about authority; how authority subjectively passes back and forth between individuals based on seemingly arbitrary circumstances.
