Señor Scary Jerry’s review published on Letterboxd:
A movie about social anxiety as a quasi-horror film? Okaaaay. The protagonist (played by Tom Stourton who also wrote the screenplay) experiences it all, and we’re along for the ride to witness the FOMO, awkwardness, and paranoia. The cast of unlikable estranged friends with their pointed quips and betrayals, unfortunately, ring very true and familiar. It’s personal, cruel, cringeworthy and uncomfortable to watch. Adding to the tension are the musical cues and foreboding tone that suggest a sinister conspiracy, making this one of the most unusual genre mashups this year.
