As a documentary it was...ok.
As a part of the larger conversation about trauma I appreciated the approach of looking at how interconnected it is while letting the story be about this one guy.
I feel guilty about this review when I feel like should have loved it (Rublov is a goat) and admittedly Didn’t understand it, but falls into that “characters taking existential dread naps” category that often doesn’t click with me (picinic at hanging rock, last year at marinbad, etc).
But also, p cool I guess. Felt very 2020.
