So much of what I wrote about Caché yesterday could be applied to The Double Life of Véronique.
Really, I need to stop watching films that require some thought not only in terms of viewing them but also in reviewing them when I'm sleep deprived and hot. Might come back and review this next February during a week off.
But it was worth the 20 year wait to rewatch this, let's just say.
