Honestly, it makes my list of favorite films of all time. Couldn’t tell you what placement had yet but it’s a definite favorite.

Just a really cool kid’s film. Nothing more special then that.

I like the message behind the film but most of the execution was poor delivered.

It’s been more then a year since I’ve seen this. I knew I needed a good rebound after the massive undertaking of Satantango. 

This movie always flows like no other. I notice a lot of the actors had such perfect emotions on their face throughout the entire movie.

Pretty average film. I remember liking a lot as a kid. Then again young will always be dumber then the me in the future. It’s science.

Me: Mike Mills. That’s my favorite flavor of ice cream.

My date: I can tell you don’t get out often. Do you?

Me: You’re right. I should watch Beginnings again.

It explores some interesting idea behind leadership. About half way through, I said to myself “this is just an alternate universe where Shooter from Hoosiers (Dennis Hopper’s character) is the head coach but his son...” whoa there. Let’s keep it spoiler free 😉

 The way it was structured fits the poster of the train they are sitting on. And it’s official City of God has a brother. (it’s this film👍)

The final part to a damn near perfect trilogy. Watching a man suffer as much as he did, it was one of the best feelings when the end came along and Apu had giving me hope for my own life.

Watched an bunch of “ugly” people do things and heard some poetry. (I put ugly in “” because I am one of them :)
