It’s been more then a year since I’ve seen this. I knew I needed a good rebound after the massive undertaking of Satantango.
This movie always flows like no other. I notice a lot of the actors had such perfect emotions on their face throughout the entire movie.

You know all that boring stuff of watching a character walk from one location to another? You don’t? oh yeah editing exists (but not for this movie) It keeps its cinematography levels high throughout every single shot. And when the camera does a nice and swift move here and there, I leapt up and cheered. But I don’t need to watch the “security tape time” of nothing happened... FOR MINUTES ON END!

Pretty average film. I remember liking a lot as a kid. Then again young will always be dumber then the me in the future. It’s science.
It explores some interesting idea behind leadership. About half way through, I said to myself “this is just an alternate universe where Shooter from Hoosiers (Dennis Hopper’s character) is the head coach but his son...” whoa there. Let’s keep it spoiler free 😉

The final part to a damn near perfect trilogy. Watching a man suffer as much as he did, it was one of the best feelings when the end came along and Apu had giving me hope for my own life.
