This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Where do I even begin? Magic is a masterpiece and is extremely under appreciated. It is the fourth film Richard Attenborough ever directed, and it really stands out. Just the year before he directed the war epic A Bridge Too Far. It's astounding that he chose to do a low budget "horror" film as his next project. I mean, the next movie he did was Gandhi, so Magic is quite a wild card in his repertoire. In my opinion, it…

A modern-ish take on the The Pied Piper of Hamelin. The film starts out innocent enough. Woo-ryong, a passer by trying to get his sick son to Seoul for treatment, stumbles upon a small village. Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones

    ★★½

Man, I love Dave Chappelle. Legit one of the funniest mother fuckers on the planet. But this is the weakest content I’ve ever seen him perform. I live in eastern Kentucky so I’ve already heard a lot of this from racist old dudes. Call me a snowflake or whatever but being offensive for the sake of being offensive will never be funny. Dave is a better comedian than this.
By the time the jokes start landing the special is over. I’m sad the jumpsuit came out for this special.

I too walk around with a bag full of sorrys.

Not as strong as Tennessee Kid, but that level will honestly be difficult to reach again. Nate has cemented himself as one of my favorite comics of all time though. His tone and the way he phrases things just hits for me. Everything he says makes me laugh.
