Oh wow, one of the best movies I’ve watched in a hot minute. I’ve been a bit busy lately, as well as not feeling up to typing so much as a sentence review, but I guess this pulled me out of that rut. It’s got some of everything I love about Kieslowski, but also mixes in some surreal elements and just cool filmmaking that somehow doesn’t feel out of place at all. 
Fantastic acting across the board, and I loved the soundtrack. Like a lot. Very happy this got a screenplay nom and feel very strongly that it should have gotten a best picture nomination. Near the top of my favorites from 2021.
