"Only in L.A.!"
1. Probably the greatest kiss scene I've seen.
2. Jack Nicholson is, somehow, very very hot.
3. I was not expecting this film to nearly move me to tears. Seriously, what a fucking devastating ending, and, thank God, it doesn't feel like being edgy for the sake of being edgy.
Also, I FINALLY get who the evil tortoise mayor from Rango was based on.
ALSO also, Polanski directing Cross taking the 15 year old at the end? awkward
It's a wild, fun ride, from start to finish. Impeccably constructed and developed characters, a tight story, a rythm that gradually picks up until a frenzied third act, and some of the snappiest dialogue ever. Check it out.
