Inferno ★★★★½

Admittedly, Keith Emerson’s score can sound a bit “theme-Parky” in some places, but it does little to dilute the atmosphere that Argento creates here. I haven’t seen this since I was about 17 or 18, and that underwater sequence has been in my memory all these years later, and it’s still as beautiful and as horrifying as I remember it being. I’ve always read people vouching this being better than Suspiria, and my habit of rooting for the underdog (for the time being, at least) is causing me to agree.
