I started this one afternoon and had to turn it off. The lack of any sound made it hard to keep my attention. I'm so glad I went back to it. Maria Falconetti is amazing. Her eyes. There just aren't words
I didn't read the reviews or synopsis before watching this and I'm glad I didn't. It was fantastic. Not necessarily a good film, but definitely worth the watch. Stitches the clown makes up for all of the terrible characters.
Has watching the entirety of David Lynch's films before this Louis Malle film helped prepare me to understand anything that happened? Probably not. Did I have a greater appreciation for this? Most definitely.
