Sardar Udham

Sardar Udham ★★★★½

Every Indian heart is scarred by the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. "How could one be so diabolical and have no remorse for murdering so many innocent people?" I thought as I studied this in high school, much like Sardar Udham.

Vicky Kaushal has delivered one of his most subtle, if not his greatest, performances to date, and the production, oh my. The frigid and chilling streets of 1930s London are palpable. Yes I felt the length of the movie but the last 30 minutes is just trauma depicted at its best. No doubt an essential must watch for all Indians and I hope it gains international recognition too. Inquilab Zindabad. Jai hind.
