Geir Friestad’s review published on Letterboxd:
On a strictly surface level, The Grey can be viewed as a straight up wolf punching survival thriller. It's more than that, though – at its core it's really a bleak and graceful film about accepting death, here symbolized by the ever-present pack of wolves. Looking at his filmography, this may come across as faint praise, but The Grey is easily Joe Carnahan's best movie, closely followed by Narc - and the rest trailing far behind.
