maggie’s review published on Letterboxd:
is there one person who, no matter what you do, has a strange hold on you? you can move on, move to another country, find other people, but that person still is there. you can hate them, move on from them, but you’d come back to them at the drop of the hat if need be. it may not be happy or healthy together, but it’s magnetic. loneliness only makes it worse. it feels so wrong in retrospect, but so right in that moment. in that moment you’re happy together. and when you’re sad alone, happy together is worth the pain.
