In terms of cinematography, pacing, use of long, wide angle shots and general production, Roma is near perfect. Cuarón has evidently poured his heart and soul into this one.

And although I didn’t seem to find it as emotional as others (this could be a classic case of hearing SO much about it in the run up to actually watching it), the naturalism and intimacy make for an enjoyable, voyeuristic viewing.
