Nora’s review published on Letterboxd:
Like a poem, a deconstruction of someone or something using metaphors as a way to obscure the meaning in the forefront, but also a way to achieve artistic value and find relation in oneself. Read between the lines. You’ll find the meaning whoever or whatever it may concern, and you may just stumble upon yourself in the process. Questioning? Discovering? Maybe.
Stalker is that. Poetry in cinematic form. Not just a entrancing watch but a journey. A journey of existentialism, spirituality, fear, and anxiety. There’s nothing like Stalker. My introduction to Tarkovsky couldn’t be better.
