Letterboxd — Your life in film

Great movie. Christopher Plumber does a great job filling in for he who must not be named. Beautiful shots of Rome as well. Great tourist advert bar all the kidnapping. Definitely recommend it, slow start but worthwhile finish.

It's a fun movie but if you think about the storyline at all, you realise it makes barely any sense. It's totally confusing and full of rubbish that by the end of the film was totally superfluous anyway.... Still, was alright.

Fantastic visuals throughout the movie. Masterfully makes the contrasting and out of place art styles some how fluid and fitting. Storyline, although not super complex, is fun and easy to follow, with likeable characters, and a relatable hero. Overall its a comic book movie, but delivered in an original way, making it worth watching. Good soundtrack too.

Tom Hardy did an alright job as Venom, but character not developed enough, interesting dynamic between symbiote under exploited, so overall the movie remains mediocre at best. Bits and bobs of nice animation and visual effects, and Venom genuinely looks like the comic book character in a good way. Nice with a dollop of personal nostalgia for the 90s cartoon, but doesn't carry the movie.

Very good biopic, I enjoyed it and the music was great obviously. Worth a watch

Loooove it. Even with the boring romance story in the middle it's a great film.
