The Night House 2020
Boooooooo….while Rebecca Hall carried this entire movie, her acting skills don’t make up for this goofy ass plot. I was right there w the movie during the first hour, I was digging the slow uncovering of just who Owen rly was and what he did when his wife wasn’t around. But the big reveal was so silly, I could not take the movie seriously after that. Sorry. Lol

equally frustrating as it is admirable on a narrative and thematic level but Rebecca Hall’s performance and the stellar imagery elevate it even further from succumbing to its faults. Also features the best jump scare I’ve seen since Hereditary.
