Sheldon Dugas’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s been so long since I’ve seen this movie that I didn’t remember most of it. I remembered the armoured truck heist, bank heist, and ending scenes. I forgot that this is a near 3 hour long movie, and most of the time, it doesn’t feel that way. I think Dennis Haysbert could have been cut and nothing would be missing from this movie, but I still enjoyed the characters and plot. They all respect each other even when they are on different sides of the law. The action is top notch, with the bank heist gunfight being regarded as one of the best shootouts in film for a reason. The sound just echoes through the streets and nothing feels safe. Pacino and De Niro are great as the two leads, and it’s fun to see them interact in this way.
