Sheldon Dugas’s review published on Letterboxd:
A classic of the slasher genre and a movie that loves horror films and loves to mock them. The amount of clever jokes there are in this movie are numerous and to catch them all on a single watch is nearly impossible. The homage that Craven plays to himself and Carpenter as the masters of horror is awesome. This movie is plotted well, and the mystery and intrigue are so good. It might be a little implausible, but I can't help but love this whole movie. Onto 2!
