Why this movie was received negatively when out came out I'll never understand. I watch this movie and just think of how perfect of a movie this is. The gore isn't even that hard to watch imo. The hardest thing to watch is seeing someone cut their own thumb, which is not even that bloody! And a Razzie for Worst Score? WHAT??!!?? It's one of the best horror movie scores ever created and someone thought it was the worst? I mean, wow. The whole cast is pretty great in this, playing up the paranoia to the maximum and having some really tense moments throughout the entire thing. Carpenter sure is a genius and has truly made some of the best movies ever, while also making some trashy ones. But this is definitely one of my favs of his, with Halloween and They Live also in contention for that top spot.
