Well, that sure was big.

Cult Movie Challenge | Week 19: 80s Horror
Revisiting this, I realized that I've seen Hellraiser 2 and 3 a lot more than the first one. It's a great start to the series and it just underlines what a shame it is that, aside from Hellbound, Hellraiser was so poorly tended to as a franchise. I hate the the following movies ditched this tone and tried to make the centobites into a bunch of a wisecracking Freddy Kruegers. And that hallway demon... I mean, they must have known that wasn't working, right?
Cult Movie Challenge 2018: Video Nasties Week
This has to be the most tame Video Nasty that was successfully prosecuted. But really you can't go wrong with Satanism plus early 80s computers plus little Clint Howard.
And how is possible that Clint Howard had a receding hairline as a teenager? Damn son.
2018 Cult Movie Challenge Week 4: Shaw Brothers
Whoops. I guess I went and watched five movies for this week. Of the three I watched for the first time, I think I liked this one better than Return to the 36th Chamber but not as much as Five Element Ninjas.
Toad continues to be my favorite of the Venoms, but the end scene in this where Lizard and the Student fight the metal arms guy with the rings is just straight up banaynays. "And it shoots darts!" also deserves to be among the all time great movie quotes.
