Can’t begin to explain what possessed me to watch this. I just do not find this remotely romantic. And Ryan Gosling is so charming too, no one else could’ve pulled this off. Someday I will write my galaxy brain piece about how this is the antithesis to the David Lean type romance. I have a hard time believing anyone who has seen and enjoyed The Passionate Friends isn’t rooting for James Marsden. I just don’t see how Noah’s love was anymore meaningful than Lon’s.

Nosferatu the Vampyre 1979
Hard to rate. Did I like it? No, it was weird and spooky in a way that made me feel very sad and very strange. But loneliness is madness and love is bravery and the plague comes for us all. Man vs. nature. I get it. Maybe the German filmmakers aren’t for me, idk. Or maybe I just don’t like thinking about death coming for me too.
