bitter to see the total sell-out by lass, who managed to make one of the best german movies of the recent 10 years in 'love steaks', and fails to reproduce his trademark in a disgustingly promoted fashion. so this is improvised, despite having 5 screenwriters at work? it's minimalistic, despite creating a hip-stylish atmosphere, fast-paced editing and garishly coloured imagery? it's anarchistic, despite having all those long-known german funding institutions on board? it's independent and fresh stuff, despite being produced by the infamous husband of doris dörrie, who created 'artworks' as fuck ju göhte, blutzbrüdaz or gut zu vögeln?
