Style over... everything. But the attitude, cool character traits and hypnotic soundtrack -that make for an amazing trailer- can't sustain a full-length movie when the characters turn out stale and lifeless and the dialogs, save a hand full of punchy one-liners, would probably have been better when written by an AI. This wont stop me from going to see Ana Lily Amirpour's next movie though, because I do think she's on to something.
