I love movies made by John Hughes and this was no exception.
A warm heart warming story about friendship, family, adventure, chaos and fun. The plot might be silly and cliche but it has the heart and it was so beautiful. The jokes were hilarious, the adventure was cool, the tale of friendship was stunning. Steve Martin was great but as usual John Candy steals the show. That man is a bundle of joy. This movie was highly likeable and entertaining. The climax made me tear up.
I am not a Christian, but the concept of Thanksgiving seems so much fun and lovely. So everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving people. Enjoy it to the best you can. Have a blast!
A solid 88% for this movie.
PS - I think one 30 seconds dialogue might have gotten this movie a R certificate, if it did I feel for the kids who couldn't watch this but for me I was laughing my ass out.
And what was Kevin Bacon doing here! Loved him though.
