this is a perfect example of a movie being smarter than its audience bc half the reviews here are like “why did everyone love Mandy? she’s so boring” when that’s literally the entire point of the movie…like we learn nothing about Mandy because none of the characters actually know anything about her, they’re all just projecting onto her. it’s literally a slasher movie about the dangers of the male gaze. duh.
