Tenet ★★★★

every great director has a movie where they just indulge in all their pleasures. for tarantino it’s a love letter to hollywood, for scorsese it’s a masterpiece about morality and friendship, and for nolan it’s a borderline incomprehensible action movie obsessed with time. i loved it. nolan’s greatest strength as a director is making movies very fun and entertaining even when you understand absolutely none of it. i’ve probably seen inception three times when i was 10 years old before i even paid attention to what the story was years later.

(this might be the most filmbro™️ thing i’ve ever written, fuck)
