This was a really cute movie, and I loved the lead actress, but unfortunately I found the style really annoying, and didn't care at all about what was going on. It's too bad Godard cared more about weird cuts and random horn noises and shit, more than actually making you care about the story he's telling. This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

There’s a single SECOND of this movie (47:28) where an uncanny valley CGI Seth Rogan dwarf with an axe watches a gorilla nurse fold the snake skin he pleasurably pulled off of a blinged-out DJ in the secret facility of a crime lord Peter Pan with bad cardio who is kidnapping cartoon actors to perform body horror surgeries on them while their disappearances are investigated by a blue Play-Doh T-1000 voiced by JK Simmons as 2 rats rap about whales nearby.

So, it has come to my attention that a significant portion of my peers are claiming that Guardians of the Galaxy…

Ya so this was a strange experience. The director came out after the film and made a joke that the film was designed to get Elizabeth Moss a role as the Joker in the next Batman movie, and while he may have been joking, there is some truth to that. The reason you need to see this movie is for Elizabeth Moss' unhinged performance as a self-destructive rockstar. What saddens me is that Lady Gaga will probably be the one…
