Although the cute little ghoulies are hiding a little bit long in the "Satan's den" the last 20 minutes of this film are funny as hell. Obscure, funny and so typically 80ies you have to take a look at it.
A few days ago, I visited Perugia. So I had to watch this film, which plays in this beautiful Italian town :) Sergio Martino was one of the best italian directors of his time and Torso definitly must have inspired other directors. (Even John Carpenter for Halloween?!)
The way Martino worked with colours and the suspense shows his talent. Although the story is - like the most stories in the giallo-genre- a little bit thin, it's thrilling and the beautiful set compensates a lot.
