In the Mood for Love

In the Mood for Love ★★★★★

A rigid corner of a darkened stairway starts to cool. Only after a woman brushes her hand against the surface, the tactile imprint lingers and marks the feeling of the area. The man soon comes along, hungry for a meal of noodles within the smoky underground restaurant. It isn't just the sight of another woman that excites him, It's the feeling. The mood. The lightness and overwhelming fluttering of whimsy and sensuality.

He longs for her, and that connection shifts the ambiance of his dimly industrial realm of existence into a flourishing array of colors and exotic whispers. Did he hear her? Her presence is felt, to be sure. As he stops, the watchful eye zooms in, transforming the entire frame into a dazzling kaleidoscope of impeccable sincerity and heartfelt haziness. Did the world stop spinning? When you're in love, the overwhelming spark and exuberance doesn't allow for contemplation. It's just you and her, or you and him, together as one, gradually stepping into an evening rain shower which refuses to dim the passion.
