This is my second viewing of Tenet, a couple of days after watching it on the plane. I watched it again over the course of those two days, this time pausing and rewinding and looking up things I didn’t quite understand. A lot of the film comes into focus that way, especially the hows and whys, and the importance of what were clearly Chekhov’s [things shown for a split-second with no obvious reason why] in the opera house siege scene.
