The phone conversation scene between Billy and Goon had a big emotional impact on me. Even though the character Goon wasn't an important character, I was so moved by it. Manchester by the Sea level.
Buffalo '66 was one of the saddest character studies ever. To watch Billy Brown was so hard for me. As mentioned in my The Master review, I said that a main, broken character almost is enough for me to make the film a masterpiece. Buffalo '66 is no exception.
